About Olivier Jaillon

I am the founder of Off the Grid, a private holding company through which I own and support a small number of businesses and projects. My work is built on a simple premise: find good people, give them capital and patience, and stay out of the way until they ask for help.

Before Off the Grid, I spent years operating, advising, and investing in companies across Europe and the United States. That experience taught me that the best outcomes usually come from the quietest teams — the ones that are too busy building to spend much time describing what they are building.

I live in France, read more than is healthy, and write occasionally. This site is where those essays live, alongside information about the holding and its portfolio.
